Dormition Abbey and Upper Room

Our free day! Saw a cool Jewish man.

We went to a beautiful christian church/cathedral. Man, it was so powerful. It was Sunday, and I was with some pretty top notch people. We pretty much had the church to ourselves and decided to harmonize to some hymns about Christ together. Not gonna lie, we sounded good. :) A man who was visiting from America who was there with a body guard from the American Consulate was listening in. We started "I believe in Christ" very softly and got louder and louder with power until the last verse and just let the last note ring through out the building. #amazingaccustics. As we sang the last verse, this man started getting very emotional, and just put his hands up to God as if he were talking. He thanked us afterwards, and we thanked him for being a fellow worshiper of Christ.

In front of Dormition Abbey

The Upper Room. Of course, this is where Christ instituted the sacrament and talked about how Judah would betray Him. This was just before he walked to Gethsemane to perform the atonement. (I have walked that path!)

Had some of the BEST gelato. Only 19 shekels for two scoops. Flavors: Ferrero Roccer and Cheesecake. YUM. This was in West Jerusalem, close to Ben Yahudah Street that has lost of Jewish shops.

There are tons of police around Jerusalem right now. . .(back left)
